Objective According to "Project occupational hazard assessment specification"requirements, investigate the occupational hazards and evaluate the control effect of protective equipment in a furniture factory of Chongqing Yubei. Provide information for reference to the production and operations management, occupational health management through this evaluation. And for the health administrative departments to provide scientific basis for the occupational health technical acceptance of construction projects, but also to provide technical support to national occupational hazard for construction projects macro control and management.Methods This study mainly uses the occupational health field investigation, occupational health field testing methods checklist analysis and occupational health checks carried out. Intends to use qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods combined, the construction projects related to occupational health, preventive measures such as project evaluation content and relevant national standards and specifications were analyzed.Results 1) Project Overview:The furniture factory is a new project for the plant relocation project, with the new relocation, on the basis of the original area over facilities and equipment, the company has been updated, including a total of three production lines, with a total design capacity 55.000 units/year, location in Yubei, does not belong to the natural foci; The factory covers an area 67065 m2, construction area 25999 m2, the new production plant and comprehensive building each one, with a total construction area of 37300 m2; Location of the project belonged to the wet subtropical monsoon climate zone, according to statistics, conventional meteorological conditions are as follows:years annual average temperature: 17.1℃, extreme maximum temperature:42.2℃, extreme minimum temperature:-2.6℃, for many years the average annual rainfall:1150.7 mm, for many years the average annual sunshine hours:1341.1 hours, years of annual average relative humidity:81%, the annual average wind speed:2.2 m/s, the maximum wind speed:28.4 m/s, annual dominant wind direction:NE; 2) The overall layout, equipment layout and evaluation: Location are shallow hills, the former agricultural land is relatively flat, the plant area to the west, south, north, most of the Western region arranged to plant, north east for the office area and living area. Northwest of the plant for finished goods warehouse, plant south from west to east, the production line layout, production second-tier and third-line production. Wood raw material to go through the water drying process, drying room for waste wood fuel.4) Identify occupational hazards:On the basis of raw ingredients, the relevant evaluation data query and evaluate a comprehensive analysis of filtration experience, the project main occupational hazard factors:noise, wood dust and other dust (paint dust fallout), formaldehyde, benzene, toluene, xylene, acetic acid esters.Occupational hazards that may exist during the labor aspects of the project including the irrational labor organization, rest system. The project is a production environment harmful factors are the summer heat. Mainly for manual workers mainly work in the summer, probably affected by high temperature environment.5) Detection of occupational hazards:The noise detection pass rate is 90.6%. Except two wood dust detection points meet the standard requirements, the remaining 46 are overweight; only three compliance in 11 other dust detection points.6) Occupational health protection:The project workplace dust concentration is high, higher than the standard, high overweight, ventilation and dust removal facilities failed to meet set goals. Antivirus facility setting part to achieve the purpose of ventilation, but part of the workplace or the intensity of the concentration of hazardous substances exceed the relevant occupational health standards. Most of the noise intensity meet the standards, but still part of the job-related noise level exceeds occupational health standards. Currently non-hot season, no heat production and test results, but the work area more jobs are provided exhaust fan.7) Occupational health management situation:occupational health management of the project in line with national laws, regulations and standards requirements, and the implementation of various management systems need to be strengthened, but also attaches importance to the supervision and management agencies.Conclusion The location, overall layout, building hygiene, production processes, occupational emergency response plan and occupational health management of the project can meet the national occupational health norms and standards. But there are still some deficiencies in the protective measures of occupational hazards, personal protective equipment configurations, and other aspects of occupational health surveillance. The facility on this basis if they can absorb and implement additional measures to control occupational hazards of this evaluation report recommendations, to be implemented one by one, and continuous improvement, can only really achieve the purpose of protecting the health of workers, and effectively control the occurrence of occupational hazards.
