| Objective:To investigate the relevance between blood glucose and thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH),and to assess the role of thyroid hormones and thyroid autoantibodys in screening for gestational diabetes (GDM) patients.Methods:.Randomly selected the second trimester prenatal women 265,serum thyrotropin (TSH), free triiodo thyronine (FT3), free thyroxine (FT4) and thyroid peroxidase antibodies (TpoAb) were detectd.and detected 75g OGTT at 28 weeks.TO count the prevalence of GDM during pregnancy, spearman rank correlation was used to analyze the relationship between the blood glucose and the levels of TSH,also was used to analyze the relationship between the prevalence of GDM and the levels of TPOAB.Results:The prevalence of GDM was 19.2%,the overall prevalence of abnormal thyroid function was 3.8%,while the positive rate of TPOAB was 6.8%.(2)No correlation between the incidence of GDM and TSH values during the second trimester.(3)No correlation between the incidence of GDM and TpoAb levels during the second trimester(P=0.774). (4) No difference in thyroid function and TpoAb levels among GDM women and non-GDM.Conclusions:There is no obvious correlation between thyroid disease and GDM, we should screening them separately to avoid misdiagnosis. |
