OBJECTIVE: In this study, to understand the relevance of erythema nodosum and tuberculosis infection, we investigated the T-SPOT.TB with having a higher prevalence of sensitivity and tubercle bacillus antibody of the peripheral blood in patients with the group of erythema nodosum and normal group.METHODS: Using the technique of ELISPOT, peripheral blood was collected from 50 erythema nodosum patients and 43 healthy people in normal group.According to T-SPOT.TB and tubercle bacillus antibody, the number of positive cells in the case of spot to understand the relevance of erythema nodosum and tuberculosis infection.RESULTS: T-SPOT.TB in peripheral blood: The EN group consisted of 50 cases in which the number of positive cases was 38 cases, the positive rate was 76%; the normal group consisted of 43 cases, including 5 cases were positive, the positive rate was 11.6%,P<0.001, the difference was statistically significant. The tubercle bacillus antibody in peripheral blood: the EN group consisted of 50 cases, and positive cases were 4 cases, the positive rate was 8%;the normal group consisted of 43 cases, including the positive case were 2 cases, the positive rate was 4.7%,P > 0.05,the differences was not statistically significant. T-SPOT.TB in peripheral blood: the EN group: antigen A was 15.76 ± 17.93;the normal group: antigen A was 2.14±3.19,Z=-6.081,P<0.001,the differences was statistically significant;the patient group: the antigen B was 16.10±18.67;the normal group: the antigen B was 2.16±3.42, Z=-6.225,P<0.001,the differences was significant.CONCLUSION: In this study, this experiment by peripheral blood tuberculosis infected T cells detection shows T-SPOT.TB test positive rate、antigen A、antigen B in EN group were significantly higher than that of normal group, suggest the onset of EN may related to immune response caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis infection. The test provides important basis for the diagnosis of erythema nodosum at the same time, compared with the previous tuberculin test and tuberculosis antibody detection, significantly shorten the time, improve the efficiency of the diagnosis of etiology.
