Objective:To investigate the relationship of uric acid and fibrinogen and left ventricular mass index with the pathological condition of coronary artery in old patients with coronary heart disease.Methods:270 hospitalized old patients who had accepted coronary angiography from January 2014 to June 2015 in cardiology of the first Hospital of JiLin university were enrolled. According to coronary angiography, the patients were divided into two groups: normal control group(n=60) and the CHD group(n=210).The CHD group was also further divided into three subgroups according to the number of diseased vessel:one diseased vessel group(n=63),two diseased vessel group(n=66),and three diseased vessel group(n=81).The clinical data included sex, age,blood pressure,smoking,diabetes,blood lipid,fasting blood glucose,uric acid,fibrinogen,height,weight,surface area.We got the interventricular septum thickness, left ventricular posterior wall thickness,left ventricular end-diastolic diameter,left ventricular ejection fraction and left ventricular mass index by ultrasonic cardiogram.and comparedthe indicators all above between the two groups,and analyse the relationships of these factors and the extent of coronary stenosis.Results:1、The levels of uric acid and fibrinogen and left ventricular mass index in patients with CHD were significantly higher than those of control group(p < 0.05),The level of uric acid was no significantly different in single-artery lesions group and control group(p>0.05),the levels of uric acid and left ventricular mass index were gradually increased in patients with single-artery lesions group,double-artery lesions group,and multi-artery lesions group and have obviously statistically significantly(p<0.05).The level of fibrinogen in doubleartery lesions group did not differ from those of multi-artery lesions group(p>0.05),the levels of fibrinogen in double-artery lesions group and multi-artery lesions group were significantly higher than those of single-artery lesions group(p<0.05).2、The correlation coeffieients of uric acid and fibrinogen and left ventricular mass index levels with the severity of coronary artery scores were 0.365,and 0.41and0.389 respectively.3、There was a progressively decreased tendency on left ventricular ejection fraction in the three subgroups.There was a progressively increased tendency on interventricular septal thickness,left ventricular posterior wall thickness, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and left ventricular mass index in the three subgroups.Conclusions:1、Uric acid、fibrinogen and left ventricular mass index could be used as early predictor of coronary heart disease.2、Uric acid、fibrinogen and left ventricular mass index have the meaning to predict the number of diseased vessels and the pathological severity of coronary artery.3、Combined detection of uric acid, fibrinogen and left ventricular mass index may help to predicting of coronary heart disease and the pathological severity of coronary artery,that can make effective treatment strategies in time and improve the prognosis.
