Objective:To observe the effects of Jin Ling Zi Powder on the four kinds of gastric ulcer model rats,in order to clear the effects and mechanism of Jin Ling Zi Powder, ifferent dosages of Jin Ling Zi Powder were compared in prevention and treatment on the experimental gastric ulcer model, its preliminary study on the mechanism of Jin Ling Zi Powder on treating experimental gastric ulcer.Designed to provided some experimental basis for the clinical application and further development of Jin Ling Zi Powder.Methods:Four kinds of gastric ulcer model were used to observe the effects of Jin Ling Zi Powder,which included type of indomethacin, water immersion-restraint stress,pyloric ligation and acetic acid daub in rats. The first stage of this experiment is to find the model which Jin Ling Zi Powder has the best effect on it. Rats for each model are divided into three groups:model group, positive group and Jin Ling Zi Powder group.The influence of the ulcer index and the ulcer healing rate are respectively observed. Secondly, it is found that Jin Ling Zi Powder has the best effect on gastric ulcer model of acetic acid daub. So it should be study deeply from the aspect. The rats were divided into negative group, model group, positive group and three different dosages of Jin Ling Zi Powder groups etc. The six groups were treated respectively for ten days after duplicated the models. The ulcer index, healing rate, NO, PGE2 and the content of VEGF in stomach tissue and so on were studied to explore effects of the Jin Ling Zi Powder.Results:Jin Ling Zi Powder has the effects of promoting healing and preventing the occurrence of acetic acid daub and pyloric ligation models of gastric ulcer compared with model group (p<0.01),and treatment effect on type of acetic acid daub is better. High dose group of Jin Ling Zi Powder and positive control group showed significantly effects on lowering ulcer index (p<0.01), and the effect is better than dose group and low groups. Still, the high dose group has the significant difference on NO, PGE2 and VEGF content in stomach tissue compared with model group (p<0.01, p< 0.05,p<0.01).Conclusion:1.Jin Ling Zi Powder could prevent the occurrence of pyloric ligation model gastric ulcer, and has better effect of promoting gastric ulcer healing on the acetic acid daub model rats.2.Each group of Jin Ling Zi Powder had healing effect in the treatment of acetic acid daub type gastric ulcer. The high dose group of Jin Ling Zi Powder has better effects compared with the low and dose group in terms of promoting ulcer healing.3.The mechanism of Jin Ling Zi Powder to acetic acid daub type gastric ulcer may be related to improving gastric mucosa protection factor like NO, PGE2, VEGF levels to dilate blood vessels and increasing the gastric mucosal blood flow so as to repair gastric mucosa.
