Therapeutic Effect Of Acupuncture At Shuigou Point In The Treatment Of Generalized Anxiety Disorder Observation

To study the difference of therapeutic efficacy between using Shuigou and no using Shuigou point for treatment of general anxiety disorder.MethodsThe 60 cases of general anxiety disorder patients were randomly divided into the treatment group (the Shuigou point group,30 cases) and the control group (no Shuigou point group,30 cases), The twirling and lifting-thrusting for reducing at Baihui, Sishengcong, Taiyang, Fengchi, Neiguan, Shenmen were used in the two groups, and Shuigou point in the treatment group.Once daily, for 50min, while no needle,the treatment session was 4 weeks.After four-week treatment,the therapeutic effects were compared by determining the HAMA and SAS scales before and after acupuncture treatment.At the end of the fourth week.The results were derived by statistical analysisResultsAfter the treatment, two groups of scale scores are lower than before treatment, two groups of patients before and after treatment HAMA score difference, P<0.05, the total score in treatment group scale is better than the control group.Anxiety self-assessment scale compared the two groups after treatment, P<0.05, there is significant difference. Total effective rate was no significant difference, but the treatment group markedly effective rate was 73.3%, control group markedly effective rate was 43.3%, significantly difference comparing the two groups (P<0.05), the overall clinical curative effect of treatment group is better than the control groupConclusionShuigou point can enhance significantly therapeutic efficacy of acupuncture for treatment of general anxiety disorder, showing that Shuigou can improve the anxiety symptoms.
