Clinical Research On Using PPH To The Treatment Of Rectovaginal Fistula In Adults

Objective:To observe and evaluate PPH in clinical effectiveness, safety and recurrence in the treatment of the medium and low rectovaginal fistula in adults.Methods:A randomized study was made in 30 adult patients with medium and low rectovaginal fistula.The study group(15 cases)received the treatment of PPH and the control group(15 cases) received the treatment of anorectal mucosal flap repair.Observe and evaluate the treatment effect and complications, judgment about the safety and efficacy of PPH.Results:Two surgical procedures have achieved the same clincal effect.Between two groups,there were not statistically signficant differences in the disappear of clincal symptom,hospital stays as well as in intraoperative anastomotic suturing hemostasis, intraoperation stretch reflex,postoperative bleeding, rectum stenosis,rate of primary healing after surgery,anal incontinence situation. There was no significant difference in between two groups(P> 0.05), But, there were signficant differences in operation time Postoperative pain postoperative complication and recurrence rate(P< 0.05).Conclusion:PPH treating for rectovaginal fistul in aadult is a technique with reliable and safety.It has the advantage of much capacity of resection specimen and low postoperative recurrence rate.
