Summary Of Experience On Cough Variant Asthma Based On Lung Bi Theory By Zhang Zhiwen

Background:Zhang Zhiwen,the professor of ChengDu university of TCM,is not only a famous traditional Chinese physician in SiChuan province,but also a famous national doctor in warm disease. Doctor Zhang had a wide range of TCM knowledge.He advocates and builds TCM Infectious Diseases.The clinical effect is reliable.Thus, doctor Zhang is good at all kind of disease of respiratory system.Objective:The research depends on the program of famous inherited studio by Zhang Zhiwen in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). To inherit and develop Zhang’s academic thinking and clinical experience.Method:Studied treatment of outpatient with doctor Zhang. Summarized and discussed what was learnt. Developed Zhang’s academic thinking.Result:Through company with TCM doctor Zhang in nearly 2 years,more than 3000 medical cases were collected.After studying TCM doctor Zhang’s literatures and over 10 books on warm disease, more Than 100 reading notes were recorded.The research was paid attention to Cough Variant Asthma(CVA).Conclusion:Through summarising points on Lung Bi since ancient times, Doctor Zhang’s new viewpoint was presented. Based on cause, symptom, pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation, treatment, medicine, frequency of decoction and useful treatment experience, Doctor Zhang’s theory on CAV was proved to be reasonable and effective.
