Objective:To research and develop the automatic monitoring system of adverse drug reaction,which can automatically form the adverse drug reaction reports.Methods:The framework of the adverse drug reaction automatic monitoring system and triggers were established according to the researches at home and abroad and experts’advice.The system was gradually developed based on the trigger technology.Results:①The framework of the automatic monitoring system of adverse drug reaction was established. ② The triggers involving adverse drug reactions were founded, as well as the adverse drug reaction terminology database and drug information database. ③ The description of adverse drug reactions in package insert was standardization. ④ The report system in hospital was established.Conclusions:The triggers database,adverse drug reaction terminology database, drug information database are the foundation of automatic monitoring system of adverse drug reaction. With functions of reporting automatically and statistical analysis, the system can be conducive to the discovery, collection and data utilization of adverse drug reactions.
