Objective To discuss the clinical features and to improve the understanding of the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary sarcoidosis. Methods To analyse the clinical features of 18 cases who were diagnosed as pulmonary sarcoidosis by pathology or clinical diagnosis. Results Four cases of male, while fourteen cases of female, between 23 to 64 years old, average age is 45 years old, the proportion of above 40 years old is 66.7%.16 (88.9%) cases have respiratory symptoms as the main performance, like coughing, expectoration and shortness of breath..9 (50%) cases have constitutional symptoms, like lacking in strength and having a fever.4 (22.2%) cases have extrapulmonary symptoms, like the enlargement of peripheral lymph nodes, eye drying and dimnution of vision. The results of the chest CT or PET-CT examination all showed hilar and mediastinal lymphoademopathy except 2 cases whose X rays is OK. The mediastinal nodes biopsy of 14 cases showed, via bronchoscope, endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) or thoracoscope, and 4 cases were clinically diagnosed. Conclusion Pulmonary sarcoidosis has several clinical manifestation, like coughing and expectoration, and it’s easy to confused with tuberculosis or lung cancer, so we must obtain a biopsy as early as possible to diagnose.
