Object:To investigate the expression of N-cadherin in primary ovarian neoplasia 、metastases neoplasiatissue and benignovarian neoplasia, and to analyze the function and significance of N-cadherin in thetumorigenesis and progression of ovarian cancer. and then it is essential to study that patients ?ages 、thesize of tumor 、the degree of tissue differentiations、the types oftissue and Clinic stages influence theexpression of N-cadherin and that clinic significance. Methods:Collection of shihezi university first affiliated hospital of obstetrics and gynecology from June2007 to January 2014,and primary surgical resection, 56 cases ovarian epithelial carcinoma specimensof, 30 cases ovarian epithelial carcinoma metastases and 30 cases epithelial ovarian benign tumor. Theabove patients with complete medical history data, which confirmed by pathology, patients pre-operationhas not been preoperative radiotherapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy; And three groups of specimenswere made into tissue chip. Immunohistochemical EnVision method was used to detect the expression ofN-cadherin in 30 cases of ovarian benign epithelial tumor tissue, 56 cases of ovarian epithelial carcinomaand 30 cases of metastatic tumor tissue in N-cadherin expression. The correlation between expression ofN-cadherin and clinical pathological parameters will be test by chi-square or Fisher’s method, to exploreexpression difference of N-cadherin and its statistically significant.Result:(1).The positive expression rate of N-cadherin in 30 ovarian benign epithelial tumor tissue was 10%(3/30), in 56 cases ovarian tumor tissue was 39.3%(22/56) and in 30 cases of ovarian epithelial carcinomametastases was 63.3%(19/30); expression of N-cadherin were significantly higher In ovarian tumor andmetastatic tumor tissue than in ovarian benign epithelial tumor tissue, the result showed statisticallysignificant(χ2=18.21,P =0.00). comparison between any two groups, expression of N-cadherin also hasa significance differences(P< 0.05);(2) expression of N- cadherin In metastatic tumor tissue of ovariancancer was obviously higher than that in ovarian tumor tissue, the result showed also statisticallysignificant(P< 0.05);(3) positive expression rate of N-cadherin in ovarian epithelial carcinoma I~ II,III ~ IV(FIGO staging) were 22.7%(5/22), 50.0%(17/34), the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05), positive expression rate of N-cadherin in the high, middle differentiation groups, and poorlydifferentiated group were 18.5%(5/27), 58.6%(17/29), the result also showed significant difference(P<0.05), And positive expression rate of N-cadherin in different age stages 、 different size and differentpathological type of tumor groups is not statistically significant(P> 0.05).Conclusion : High expression of N-cadherin with ovarian epithelial carcinoma is closely related to theoccurrence and progress of, make it may become the new target for treatment of ovarian epithelialcarcinoma, and can be used as indicators of clinical predict metastasis potential and prognosis has certainclinical significance.
