| Objective:Whether the new type of Mg-Li-Ca alloy and its surface preparation have good cytocompatibility and bioactivity has not be confirmed.Methods:Mg-Li-Ca alloy,Mg-Li-Ca alloy MAO,Mg-Li-Ca alloy MAO/PLA,pure Mg,pure Mg MAO,pure Mg MAO/PLA and AZ31 Bwere prepared.The MC3T3-e1(mouse osteoblasts) was used to be the test cell,then cultured and subcultured in vitro at 3th generation.The cells were cultured and developed by leaching liquor of magnesium alloys,and then observed by optics inverted microscope.MTT Cell Proliferation and Cytotoxicity Assay Kit was used to check the cytotoxicity.Alkaline Phosphatase Colorimetric Assay Kit was used to check the bioactivity. And the MC3T3-e1 were mixed with magnesium-Lithium alloys in a cell density of 5×104/m L. After 1 day co-culture, the surface of magnesium alloys were observed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) to find the change of osteoblasts.Results:The cellular activity and alkaline phoaphatase activity were not influenced by the new biomedical material and its surface preparation. The MC3T3-e1 can adhere to and proliferate and grew normally on the surface of the biomedical magnesium alloy.Conclusion:The new kind of mg-Li-Ca alloy seems to possess good cytocompatibility in vitro.It might be a new type of materials of bone implant. |
