American Ginseng Capsules Combined Western Medicine Foundation Treatment Of Coronary Heart Disease Patients With PCI Postoperative Gas Yin Deficiency Of The Clinical Efficacy Of Research

Objective: This current research is to investigate the clinical efficacy on PCI postoperative patients with Qi and Yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome of coronary artery disease based on the treatment of American ginseng capsules combined therapy with western medicine. The result is to provide an objective evidence on the prevention and treatment of coronary heart disease.Methods: All the 70 subjects are outpatients with Qi and Yin deficiency after one-year coronary stent operations from Gansu college of traditional Chinese medicine affiliated hospital. The subjects are of no significant difference on gender, age, weight, course of disease and physical condition according to statistical analysis. Then the subjects were divided into two groups randomly: control group(N=36) with secondary prevention of coronary heart disease treatment, and treatment group(N=34) with total American ginseng capsules on the basis of control group. Subjects from Treatment Group have to take 3 pills(500 mg/grain) of American ginseng capsules, and twice each day for 12 weeks. After the testing time, it is needed to assess the clinical curative effects of two groups from the aspects of TCM syndrome scoring, evaluation of clinical curative effect and electrocardiogram, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP), low-density lipoprotein(LDL-C),and safety index(including blood routine examination, routine urine test, Stool Routine, Liver Function, renal function and troponin)Results:(1) Single TCM syndrome integral comparison: subjects from treatment group are better improved than treatment group(P<0.05) in the chest pain, chest tightness, palpitations, fatigue, spontaneous sweating, insomnia, but of no obvious statistical differences(P>0.05)on chest pain, and insomnia.(2)Clinical efficacy of the treatment group is better than that of control group, results of treatment group gained an effective rate of 93.75%, control group was 87.5%, two groups compare difference had significance(P<0.05), can be thought of as integral to improve the clinical curative effect of treatment group is better than the control group.(3)ECG curative effect comparison of the control group 32 cases, total effective rate 87.5%;Treatment group 30 cases, the total effective rate was 93.34%, no worse situation. Comparing the two groups after treatment was significant difference(P<0.05)(4) For treatment group and control group after the hs- paired test with CRP,LDL-C level respectively, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant; Comparison between groups,the independent sample t test P<0.05, the treatment group was statistically significant in terms of lower hs-CRP,LDL-C levels.Conclusions: American ginseng capsules is beneficial to improve PCI post operative patients of coronary artery disease symptoms such as chest tightness, fatigue, their quality of lives and cardiac autonomic nerve function via benefiting heart qi. Further experiments to verify the functions and effects are still needed.
