The Study Of The Clinical Efficacy In The Treatment Of Cervical Vertigo Using Hyperbaric Oxygen(HBO) Combined With Conventional Therapy Or Using Conventional Therapy Alone.

Objective:Comparison of clinical efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen combined with conventional therapy and conventional therapy for cervical vertigo.To demonstrate the feasibility of treating cervical vertigo with hyperbaric oxygen.Methods:Cases of cervical vertigo patients who were belong to department of rehabilitation department in hospital and clinic were collected from March 2014 to March 2015 in the affiliated Zhongshan Hospital of Xiamen University. These cases were randomly divided into two groups by computer, group A(40 cases treated with HBO combined conventional therapy) and group B(42 cases treated with simple conventional therapy).Before treatment,the clinical data and three scale scores of the patients were recorded respectively.The t test was used to count data and count data is used for chi square test to compare the general situation of the two groups whether it has the equilibrium comparability. Recorded of the two groups after treatment in patients with DHI scale, Berg balance scale, DARS rating scale and tests of the difference of the two groups before and after the treatment using variance analysis of repeated measurement difference test.Whether the score of the scale of the treatment before and after the treatment was statistically significant,and whether the difference between different groups had statistical significance.Results:1、There were statistically significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment in patients with DHI scale, Berg balance scale, DARS rating scale and tests(test level of alpha = 0.05, p< 0.05).2、There were statistically significant difference between different groups of patients with DHI scale, Berg balance scale, DARS rating scale after treatment.Conclusion:1、Both hyperbaric oxygen therapy combined conventional therapy and using conventional therapy alone can effectively relieve the patient’s symptoms of vertigo.2、The application of hyperbaric oxygen therapy combined with conventional therapy show better than using conventional therapy alone.
