Objective To explore the etiology of or infants wheezing, study the relevance of serum and total Ig E, lung function and various social factors in infants wheezing, provide the corresponding theoretical support for the early diagnosis and treatment of these diseases at the same time. Methods Collected the records of 300 cases of inpatient children, their ages are more than 28 days, but less than 3 years old in Ningxia medical university general hospital from January 2013 to January 2014 as the research objects. They are grouped according to the diseases: the case group were 150 cases of children with asthmatic diseases;the control group were 150 cases of children with lower respiratory infection symptoms but without wheezing. To observe and record the serum total Ig E values, the lung function about these sick children, compare the differences between the two groups. The selected families of the children do the questionnaire survey, analysis the onset of infants wheezing and the possible related factors. Results The case group: t Ig E of asthmatic bronchitis and asthma in infants was significantly higher than the control children; TEF25%, TEF50%, TPTEF / Te, VPTEF / Ve were significantly lower than the control group with corresponding indicators.Infants wheezing was significantly related with allergic history, family history of asthma or allergy history, always use of antibiotics history, the presence of passive smoking history and respiratory infections raising flowers at home or not. Conclusion Wheezing infants,t Ig E levels were increased;wheezing infants, lung function levels TEF25%、TEF50%、TPTEF/Te、VPTEF/Ve were significantly decreased; relevant social factors for wheezing infants were past history of recurrent respiratory tract infection, previous history of allergic disease, family history of asthma or allergies, previous use of antibiotics, passive smoking, raising flowers in home.
