The Expression And Clinical Significances Of Oncogene Aurora Kinase A In Human Breast Cancer Tissues

Objective To investigate the expression level and clinical significance of the oncogene Aurora Kinase A in human breast cancer tissuesMethods Use tissue microarray technology and PV immunohistochemistry to assay the expression of Aurora Kinase A in 94 cases of breast cancer,36 cases of adjacent tissue and 43 cases of benign breast diseases tissue.Results 1. Compared with the benign breast diseases tissue and tumor adjacent tissue, the positive rate of Aurora Kinase A in the breast cancer is significantly higher( 86.17% vs 3.78%, P<0.01). 2. Whether lymphoid node metastasis and the number of the nodes, histological grade and p TNM staging and of breast carcinoma are related with the expressions of Aurora Kinase A(P<0.05). The expressions of Aurora Kinase A and Ki67 have positive correlation relationship(r= 0.238,P= 0.021<0.05). 3. The expressions of Aurora Kinase A is related with the molecular classification of breast cancer, while the type of base-like is highest(94.11%)Conclusion Aurora Kinase A is highly expressed in breast cancer and low or lacked expression in benign breast lesions and tumor adjacent tissue. The expression of.Aurora Kinase A have statistical significance with lymphoid node metastasis and the number of the nodes, histological grade and p TNM staging and of breast carcinoma, also have positive correlation relationship with Ki67. And in all the molecular classification of breast cancer the expression of the base-like type is 94.11%.The oncogene of Aurora Kinase A play a part in the tumorigenesis and development of breast carcinoma. This could be a new tumor marker and become a new way of targeted therapy, then by give new strategy to provide an more individualized treatment to the breast carcinoma therapy.
