Objective With the development of the laparoscopic and choledochoscopic technique to treat the stone of common bile duct and intrahepatic bile duct,we have a lot of achievements. However,it is difficult for us to deal with the recurrence Of biliary calculi, especially for the patients of multiple post-operation of biliary calculi. As a result of it,it is important to find the influencing factors of the recurrence of multiple post-operation of biliary calculi.Through the assessment of the data of the patients, including age, sex, state of nutrition, examination of postoperative follow-up and outcome of treatment,it is beneficial for us to provide a guide to diagnose and cure the disease. Methods From January 2010 to December 2014,256 patients underwent bilary lithotomy surgeries many times. As a result of some reasons, including incomplete information, the research contains 194 patients of multiple post-operation of biliary calculi.Through single factor analysis and binary logistic regression analysis, we may find the clinical data, examination and therapy of patients, which have effects on the recurrence of biliary calculi. Results The research contains 194 patients of multiple post-operation of biliary calculi. We divide them into two groups. Recurrent group has 146 patients while non-recurrent group has 48 patients. We find the factors below may have impacts on the recurrence of biliary calculi:sex(χ2=4.042,P=0.044), Body Mass Index((H=10.087,P<0.001), postoperative radiographic results(χ2=75.57,P<0.001), postoperative residual calculi(χ2=24.102,P<0.001),postoperative residual stone number(H=93.186,P<0.001), postoperative residual stone diameter(H=51.359,P<0.001), total bilirubin(χ2=4.126,P=0.042), gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase(χ2=9.215,P=0.002). Binary logistic regression analysis shows that postoperative radiographic results(P=0.013,OR=0.047,OR 95%CI= 0.004~0.532) and postoperative residual stone number(P<0.001,OR=20.508,OR 95%CI=7.500~56.080) have effects on the recurrence of multiple post-operation of biliary calculi. Conclusion It is good for the patients in the research to remove the stones as many as possible to prevent the recurrence of stones. Postoperative radiographic results of stones are good for us to find the stones as early as possible.
