Objective: we had completed the development of SSMD and MSPS which are the screening scale of mental disease from 2011 to 2014, and the two scales had good function for screen. The purpose of this study is based on the former research of SSMD and MSPS, developing a screening scale named Five-axis Scale of Psychosomatic Stress which includes common international diagnostic guidelines of psychiatric disorders. We make a preliminary experiment for people to test its validity and reliability. We hope it not only can be used in the screening of mental disorders, such as epidemiology investigation, can also be used for clinical to diagnose mental illness. Methods: We have added 10 items based on 51 items of MSPS, named FSPS which covers almost all specific symptoms of mental disease and the 10 items about negative events. Because we had carried on the inspection to event scale in MSPS, so this study clinical experiment just for the 61 items of clinical scale. We respectively collected 5030 cases of various initial randomized patients and 1124 cases of normal person In the First Affiliated Hospital Of Fujian Medical University mental health clinic and community school unit. After the filtered,4400 cases of all kinds of random surveys patients and 890 cases of normal person, total of 5290 cases of sample are effective. Using SPSS19.0 statistical analysis to test the factor analysis, item discrimination index, homogeneity test, correlation index of items, and analysis the common diseases of clustering, screening validity research, determine the demarcation between patients and normal, ROC curve. Results: According to items, the FSPS can be failed into two parts: clinical symptom scale and event scale. The Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient in clinical symptom scale is 0.955, and in event scale is 0.799, that means FSPS has good reliability. Purification is carried out on the normal group, according to the frequency distribution of the normal and patients computed the cut off of 26 point. As preliminary demarcation point is 25.5 point according to ROC, the sensitivity of FSPS is 71.2%, specificity is 100%, the area under the curve is 0.901.The factor analysis found that there are 23 independent factors, respectively for the social, dissociation, anxiety, psychoticism of intelligent, suicide, immature personality, sexual orientation, general quality of life, hypochondriasis, defense, antisocial, sex, conduct disorder, developmental positive symptoms and negative symptoms, depression, impulse, obsession, disorder, self-knowledge, dependence, physical fitness, but factor 23 is insignificance, can be removed. Item analysis shows the correlation coefficient between items of 47, 55, 50 and total points less than 0.2.those items respectively indicates independent factor, and reflects different symptom, so cannot be removed. Item discrimination analysis prompt item 12 and 35 can’t be used to differentiate normal and sick, so removed two items. Before the items removed, we draw the cut scores 26 according to the frequency distribution of normal and patient groups. Then we have purified the normal group and draw the ROC curve, the optimum cut score is 25.5, specificity 1.0, the sensitivity 0.712, area under the curve 0.901. After excluded items of 12,35,27,56, the prime cut score is 21, optimum score of ROC curve is 19.5, specificity 0.969, sensitivity 0.780, and area under the curve 0.920, the sensitivity has been improved. That screening validity is improved. Conclusion: FSPS can assist as a mental disorder diagnosis scale, also has function for screening of mental disorder, but still need to improve.
