Objective:Through analysis component of the legacy special metal particles which from common chromium iron injury tool(kitchen knife, dagger, etc.), by using GSR particles analysis method, to determined the component identified indicators and its calculation method. Test for residues of common brand tools on the market, such as chromium iron kitchen knife, dagger, Iron and manganese steel hammer, to establish the component determination evaluation index and method of common injuries tool residual metal particles, and using this evaluation method to evaluate kitchen knife, dagger, steel hammer on the market, to discuss the capability of the method to inference and distinguish of the instrument causing the trauma. Methods:Using the filter paper to wipe kitchen knife, dagger, and Steel hammer hacking filter paper, making samples of metal particles. Then the samples are analyzed by GSR particles analysis function. The results are analyzed by Microsoft Office Excel 2003 and SPSS13.0. Results:1.Change the related parameters of SEM/EDX, By testing the legacy particles from kitchen knife No.1 and No.8, samples of actual case, to set up the best test condition of the energy spectrum.2.To explore the extraction method and extraction area of common injuries tool residues particle, through extracted special particle on the wounds and the surrounding which formed by the sharps or blunt, in the actual cases of forensic medicine.3. By analysis the mathematical distribution of chromium iron weight ratio of legacy iron chromium metal particles, which from chromium iron kitchen knife and Iron chromium alloy dagger, It’s distribution characteristics is stable. Thus, the chromium iron weight ratio, can be used as a composition identified indicators. In the range of 95% confidence level, The difference rate of 50 chromium iron kitchen knife is 72%, and the difference rate of 20 chromium iron dagger is 71%.4. Using particles analysis method to evaluate the component characteristics of shed particles of iron and manganese steel hammer, and evaluated the distribution characteristics of manganese iron weight ratio, within legacy metal particles, the difference rate of 27 Iron and manganese steel hammer is 67.52%. Conclusions:1.Using GSR particles analysis method to test and analysis the composition of the legacy special metal particles of chromium iron knives, can be identified the component of Chromium iron knives. And to determined the component identified standards of a given tool.2.Testing and analysis the legacy special metal particles of Iron and manganese steel hammer by GSR particles analysis method, can be identified the component of Iron and manganese steel hammer, And to determined the component identified standards of a given Manganese iron tool.
