Expression And Signification Of Matrix Metalloproteinase-9 And Its Tissue Inhibitor Of Metalloproteinase- 1 And ETS-1 In Lichen Planus.

Objective:To investigate the expression and significance of matrix metalloproteinase-9(matrix metallpproteinase-9,MMP-9) and its tissue inhibitors of metalloproteinases- 1(tissue inhibifor of metalloproteinase-1,TIMP-1) and Ets-1(E26 transformation-specific) in lichen planus. Methods:Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of MMP-9﹑TIMP-1 and Ets-1 in 40 cases of LP lesions and 20 cases of normal skin tissues. Results:The expression of MMP-9,TIMP-1 and Ets-1 in lichen planus group were higher than those in the healthy control group(p<0.05), and between the three expression level was positively correlated(R>0,P<0.05). Conclusion:MMP-9、IMP-1 and Ets-1 were all over expressed and positively correlated in LP,these may be associated with the etiological agent of LP.
