Objective: Study CT, MRI conventional sequences(T1WI, T2 WI, FLAIR), and a special sequence(DWI, SWI),the number of diffuse axonal injury(DAI) lesions whether have differences. the detection rate between hemorrhagic lesions and non-hemorrhagic lesions whether esions whether have differences using various imaging means.Derive more clinical value of diagnostic methods, improving clinical lesion detection of diffuse axonal injury and disease understanding. Methods: Collected from March 2013 to January 2015 the clinical diagnosis of diffuse axonal injury clinical data and imaging data from affiliated Hospital of Yan’an University.37 patients imaging data were screened by inclusion and exclusion criteria.37 cases patients with clinical diagnosis of DAI line brain CT examination after injury in our hospital Radiology, the initial CT results shall prevail.Among them 37 patients according to the condition of stability and not, as far as possible to the MRI examination within one week after hospitalization, when necessary, check the delay caused by MRI in patients with stable vital signs case.the sequence of MRI including T1 WI, T2 WI, FLAIR, DWI, SWI.Giving a dose of sedatives for irritability patients, preventing the results of inspection affected.CT and MR imaging data were obtained from hospital CT room, while attending high qualification of our department and an experienced radiologist to read the piece, double-blind method to obtain the number of lesions in patients with DAI.Results: 37 patients of DAI imaging studies, In MRI of conventional sequences,There were statistically significant differences between the number of lesions detected used by FLAIR、T1WI、T2WI(χ2=22.930,P=0.011﹤0.05).Between DWI and SWI,the number of detected lesions were statistically significant differences(χ2=13.090, P=0.02 ﹤ 0.05).Among CT FLAIR and SWI,the number of detected lesions were statistically significant differences(χ2=19.634,P=0.033﹤0.05).The rate of non-bleeding lesions were most sensitive by DWI, followed by FLAIR(χ2 = 188.168, P <0.001). SWI were highest detection rate of bleeding lesions, followed by DWI(χ2 = 1363.452, P <0.001).Conclusions: The maximum number of lesions detected were SWI sequence for DAI patients. The rate of hemorrhagic lesions,SWI has obvious advantages. The rate of non-hemorrhagic lesions,DWI has obvious advantages. Therefore we can say that SWI and DWI diagnosis DAI provides an important basis for the image and a high value for DAI patient.
