With the deepening of the development and the health care reform of our health care system, private hospital is facing competition from public hospitals and other medical institutions, private hospitals in the larger industry pressures being. Although not as private hospitals and public hospitals in the scale of management, but private hospitals in cost control, personalized services and specialty and other aspects of competitive advantage gradually revealed. Compared with private hospitals public hospitals, social responsibility, although the same, but the importance of both financial performance for the received. Private hospitals at the same time achieve its social responsibility on the financial performance of hospitals also have certain requirements, therefore, the status of performance evaluation in the hospital more and more important. Performance appraisal is an important means to enhance the overall level of the hospital, to help hospitals improve the management level, improve staff attitude and cohesion, enhance the core competitiveness of the hospital, the hospital has a very important role in development.Firstly, performance appraisal system for domestic and overseas were reviewed and further elaborated the concept of performance appraisal and assessment methods related theory. After R hospital’s existing performance appraisal system for research and analysis, through questionnaires and interviews with figures in the form found in the hospital’s existing problems of performance appraisal, mainly lack of awareness of employees, indicators are not perfect, assessment department unclear, the lack of feedback aspects of communication. Used in the optimization process of improvement Balanced Scorecard(BSC) and key performance indicators(KPI), on the whole evaluation process refinement, in the assessment of key performance indicators in the balanced scorecard and the Combination, provides managers clearer quantitative data can be better assessed. Nurses for different departments, with different performance evaluation table to change the original assessment of unfairness. Also, to ensure the performance appraisal can be put in place to develop the appropriate safeguards, will feedback into the entire process of communication assessment.Through this paper, the R hospital performance appraisal system optimization to improve, enhance employee performance appraisal of understanding, from the hospital to the different sections of the index overall refinement, the key to the different sections nurse made performance appraisal form, and improve and perfect the assessment department and assessment process, the communication feedback loop into the whole process of performance appraisal, to solve the issues related to the performance evaluation of the existing hospital. Hoping to provide for the establishment of other small and medium sized hospital performance appraisal system reference for value, analyze their own problems, to build a reasonable performance evaluation system, it has a certain significance and value of the actual operating hospital performance assessment.
