AbstractTo observe the clinical manifestations, radiological examination, prognosis and recovery of the patients with multiple cerebral contusion, to explore the quantitative indicators of clinical treatment for theses patients, so as to provide reference for clinical doctors’ s work.MethodsRetrospectively Analysis the clinical treatment and prognosis of 150 cases with multiple cerebral contusion of total volume more than 30 ml, and according to the score of GCS and the total volume of multiple cerebral contusion, the patients with multiple cerebral contusion were studied by group, then compared to the prognosis of the each group by analyzing the Glsgow Outcome Score(GOS) of the patients.ResultsMore than 150 cases of surgery in 78 cases of patients with multiple cerebral contusion, live 65 cases, 28 cases recovered well, 14 cases of moderate disability, 15 cases of severe disabilities, 8 cases of plants survival, 13 cases of death. Non-surgical treatmentof 72 cases, 65 cases, survival in which 34 cases recovered well, 13 cases of moderate disability, 11 cases of severe disabilities, 7 cases of plants survival;7 cases died.ConclusionFor multiple cerebral contusion patients, Cerebral contusion volume more than or equal to 50 ml, surgery should be actively considered with priority regardless of what position in brain. GCS score less than eight points should actively surgery. If the multiple cerebral contusion total volume and GCS score pointed to the treatment, as far as possible chose the bone flap craniotomy treatment, if one pointed to surgical treatment, should be considered whether or not operation according to the patient’s condition changes, physical condition, patient’s age and other factors. So as soon as possible the decision-making surgical treatment or not, thus should save the observation time, relieve the sequela of the patients with cerebral contusion in greatest degree, and reduce the hospitalization time and the economic burden of patients.
