Background&Objective: Orthopedic clinical practice fracture combined traumatic brain injuries patients, callus growth quickly, number, and even some patients appear the phenomenon of heterotopic ossification, recently has been reported a large number of literature, discuss about the phenomenon has become a hot orthopaedic research. Through rabbit brain injury animal model of combined fracture and simple fracture, dynamic determination of hypothalamus- pituitary gonad axis in rabbit serum hormone level changes and pathological fracture end of osteoblast counting, diameter, observe the rabbit brain injury combined fracture healing, through data analysis, to explore the related factors of influence on fracture healing. Methods : Selection of rabbit 40, were randomly divided into 2 groups, linear acceleration brain injury combined ulna fracture model group(experimental group), simple standard ulna fracture model(control group), each group of 20, only two groups respectively. 1 day, 3 days prior to the injury, 1 week for the blood, and 1 day, 3 days after injury, 1 week and 2 weeks in blood, with the direct light method in the determination of serum luteinizing hormone(LH),testosterone(T),estrodiol(E2),prolactin(PRL),growthhormone(GH), follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH) level; A week, in 1 to 6 weeks after injury, random kill rabbits, two in each group, by histologic examination callus growth(to observe the change of the number of osteoblast, diameter). Results: 1. Serum hormone determination resultsAll after injury model group(experimental group) and control group were investigated to detect serum hormone than before the injury has obvious rise, 3 days after injury, all levels of the hormone to peak, at 1 week of serum hormone level began to drop, two weeks after the injury, all hormones are water back to hurt before the determination of hormone, the experimental group in hormone levels were higher than control group after injury. Including determination of T, E2, GH levels in experimental group than control group significantly increased after injury, after statistics analysis P < 0.05, there is statistical significance, PRL, FSH, LH, though the experimental group were higher than the control group after the injury, but the system analysis meter P > 0.05, no statistical significance. 2. The upper scab determination resultsAfter injury of the1-6weeks, osteoblast count every week, and the experimental group were higher than the control group, by statistical analysis of P < 0.05, there is statistical significance, 1 to 6 weeks after injury, osteoblast count within each group contrast, without increasing osteoblast growth, after statistics analysis(P > 0.05, no statistical significance; Osteoblast diameter measurement, a week no difference between the experimental group compared with control group, after statistics analysis(P > 0.05, no statistical significance, contrast group, the measured value after statistical analysis, P > 0.05 no statistical significance. Conclusion:In this experiment, through from the level of serum hormone and callus pathology observation, the results show that the combined fracture healing of traumatic brain injury, a variety of hypothalamus pituitary hormone significantly increased, and is involved in the process of fracture healing, increased the amount of its related to accelerate fracture healing. But also in clinical patients with fracture healing, will surely there is a variety of inhibits the factor of fracture healing, and unknown humoral factors, also need to be further studied and confirmed.
