The Effect Of This Two Or Three Soup On The Levels Of TGF-β1 And ET-1 Of Lung Tissues In Asthmatic Rat

Objective To explore Expression changes of TGF-β1 and ET-1 of lung tissues in asthmatic rats after the effect of This Two or Three soup.Methods 42 males Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: 10 rats in normal group, 12 rats in model group, 10 rats in This Two or Three soup group, and 10 rats in dexamethasone group. Except the normal group, Rats were sensitized by ovalbumin(OVA) and Aluminum hydroxide powder to establish asthmatic model. After the first sensitization, different medicine were used respectively for intervention. After 20 days of treatment, the rats were killed and lung tissue were taken to be observed. The contents: the weight, the lung coefficient, histopathological changes, ELIEA method to measure the level of TGF-β1 and ET-1.Results 1. Compared with the normal group, the rats’ weight of model group was less while the lung coefficient, the thickness of airway wall and smooth muscle, the levels of TGF-β1 and ET-1 increased(P<0.05). 2. Compared with the model group, the rats’ weight of the two medicine intervention groups was bigger while the lung coefficient, the thickness of airway wall and smooth muscle, the levels of TGF-β1 and ET-1 decreased significantly(P<0.05). 3. The effect of reducing thickness of airway wall and smooth muscle in This Two or Three soup group is better than the dexamethasone group(P<0.05).Conclusion There is positively correlation between TGF-β1, ET-1 and airway remodeling. This Two or Three soup could delay the airway remodeling in treating asthma by reducing contents of TGF-β1 and ET-1 in lung tissues.
