Objective: nasal inverted papilloma(nasal inverted papilloma, NIP) is a pathologic benign, often occur in the nasal mucosa, but has malignant biological behavior showed invasive growth, local destructive, tumor recurrence and malignant transformation. Application of immune group of this research method through the determination of levels of expression in normal nasal mucosa, NIP organization Ki-67, MMP-9, looking for the expression of nasal inverted papilloma proliferation index, selection and prognosis prediction can be for the treatment of nasal inverted papilloma after operation and provide theoretical basis and important reference to improve the clinical efficacy. Methods: immunohistochemistry(Immunohistochemistry IHC) staining was used to detect 30 cases of nasal inverted papilloma, 30 patients underwent correction of nasal septum deviation caused by compensatory hypertrophy of the inferior turbinate tissue expression of Ki-67, MMP-9, microscope(200X) were counted Ki-67, the number of MMP-9 positive cells were counted and the percentage of total cells as Ki-67, the MMP-9 index(Ki-67-LI.MMP-9-LI) and mean + standard deviation said, all the results were statistically. Results:(1) correction of nasal septum deviation caused by Ki-67 compensatory hypertrophy of the turbinate, nasal inverted papilloma tissues average respectively is: 2.27 + 1.85; 5.58 + 5.61. Statistical analysis indicated that showed significant difference(p<0.05). Ki-67 in the compensatory hypertrophy of the middle turbinate positive cells only scattered in the basal layer expressed in cells of the basal layer, Ki-67 positive cells in nasal inverted papilloma in most expressed in tumor cells, most not more than within the l/3 layers of papillary tumor.(2) correction of nasal septum deviation caused by MMP-9 compensatory hypertrophy of the turbinate, nasal inverted papilloma tissues average respectively is: 29.47 + 9.29; 35.45 + 7.02. Statistical analysis showed significant difference(p<0.05) that. In the compensatory hypertrophy of the middle turbinate MMP-9-LI scattered in the basal layer expressed in cells. The basal layer of MMP-9-LI in nasal inverted papilloma most expressed in tumor cells and the middle, most not more than within the 2/3 layers papillary tumor. Conclusion: the Ki-67-LI index, MMP-9-LI index can be used as a reference index to reflect the nasal inverted papilloma proliferation activity, provide certain theoretical basis and important reference for selection and prognosis prediction can be for the treatment of nasal inverted papilloma after operation, and provide experimental basis for clinical treatment, improve the clinical efficacy.
