Exploration Of The Appropriate Time Of Lesion Clearance After Cesarean Scar Pregnancy Patients Treated With Uterine Artery Chemoembolization

ObjectiveTo explore the appropriate time of lesion clearance after cesarean scar pregnancy(CSP)patients treated with uterine artery chemoembolization(UACE).MethodsA retrospective analysis was made of 53 CSP patients who have received the treatment of the UACE followed by lesion clearance in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Yangming Hospital that affiliated to Medical College of Ningbo University during the period from January 2009 to December 2013. The 53 cases were divided into three groups according to time between UACE and lesion clearance : groupⅠreceiving lesion clearance within 1 to 3 days; groupⅡwithin 4 to 7days; group Ⅲ after 7 days. One-way analysis of variance(One-way ANOVA) was made to analyze the differences of blood loss in lesion clearance, serum β-hCG levels after lesion clearance,hospitalization time and serum β-hCG level resolution time among the three groups, and then the least significant method(LSD) multiple comparison was carried out.Results1、One-way ANOVA showed that blood loss in lesion clearance, serum β-hCG levels after lesion clearance, hospitalization time and serum β-hCG level resolution time have differences(p<0.05)in three groups.2、LSD multiple comparison analysis suggested that results as listed below: ①Blood loss in lesion clearance of groupⅠand Ⅱwere approximate to each other(p>0.05),but both of them were less than that of group Ⅲ(both p<0.05); ②Serum β-hCG levels after lesion clearance of groupⅠwas higher than that of group Ⅱand Ⅲ(both p<0.05),but that of groupⅡand Ⅲwere approximate to each other(p>0.05); ③Hospitalization time of groupⅠwas shorter than that groupⅡ, and that of groupⅡ was shorter than that of group Ⅲ(both p<0.05); ④Serum β-hCG level resolution time of groupⅠand Ⅱwere approximate to each other(p>0.05),but both of them were shorter than that of group Ⅲ(both p<0.05).ConclusionsIt is concluded that the appropriate time of lesion clearance is 1 to 3 days after UACE, with less blood loss in lesion clearance, shorter hospitalization time and serum β-hCG level resolution time.
