Clinical Study Of Tangmaikang Granule In Treating Diabetes Mellitus Complicated With Osteoporosis

Objective To explore the relationship between type 2 diabetes and osteoporosis, strengthen the understanding of type 2 diabetes complicated with osteoporosis, objective indicators through clinical observation of Tangmaikang granule in the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes complicated with osteoporosis and evaluate its clinical efficacy and safety, and provide objective basis for clinical application, better service to the clinical.Methods During the period from 2012 October to 2014 March in Wuhan City, combining traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital Department of endocrinology in out-patient and in-patient department for treatment of type 2 diabetes complicated with osteoporosis patients, according to inclusion conditions were selected in 60 cases, were randomly divided into two groups, including control group and observation group. Based on the diet, exercise therapy and conventional diabetes hypoglycemic therapy, the control group was given Alendronate Sodium Tablets(Shijiazhuang Ouyi Pharmaceutical Industry Co Ltd), one tablet daily(10mg), fasting morning oral, treatment group on the basis of the observation group with Tangmaikang granule(Chengdu Zhonghui Pharmaceutical Company Limited), three times a day, 1 times 1 package(5 g). The two groups were treated for 6months. Two groups were observed before and after treatment of TCM clinical symptom score(FPG), fasting blood glucose, postprandial blood glucose(2hPG), glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c), bone mineral density measurement(BMD), statistical analysis of serum calcium, phosphorus level. The obtained data were analyzed by statistics software SPSS17.0, in which the data among multiple groups of two two compared with the t test, the efficacy of the 2 test was used to compare the percentage of. In addition, the conventional indicators for monitoring patients with blood, urine, feces and liver and kidney function, understanding drug safety.Results ①compared two groups of reject rate: The control group and the observation group did not appear to eliminate, Show that the traditional chinese medicine Tangmaikang granule concentration, easy to take, so that patients with good compliance。②TCM symptoms integral comparison:The total score before treatment in two groups of patients with symptoms and signs were not statistical significant(P>0.05), the two groups after treatment were improved in symptom total score(P<0.05) and nimodipine method comparison of the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine, the observation group were significantly improved in burnout fatigue, shortness of breath, dry mouth, like drinking, dysphoria heat, sweating, tongue and pulse symptoms, the total effective rate than the control group, there was significant statistical difference(P<0.01)。③values in bone density:In two groups before treatment bone mineral density values had no significant difference(P>0.05), the two groups after treatment than before treatment there was a significant difference(P<0.05), the control group and the observation group and comparison is also significant difference(P<0.05)。④in blood glucose:Blood glucose levels in the two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05) before treatment, the two groups after treatment than before treatment were improved(P<0.05), suggesting that the two group can effectively control blood glucose 。 ⑤Monitoring of adverse drug reactions:Two groups of patients before and after treatment of blood routine test, liver function and renal function had no obvious abnormalities. Control group had 1 cases of upper abdominal discomfort, but can be tolerated, the observation group had no obvious discomfort, two groups were no serious adverse reaction。Conclusion Through the study found that the application of Tangmaikang granule combined with Alendronate Sodium Tablets in the treatment of diabetes complicated with osteoporosis can no t only improve patient symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,but also can improve the bone mineral density, control of bloo d glucose level. At the same time, Tangmaikang granule is made from traditional Chinese medicine concentrated granule, conveni ent taking, no obvious adverse reactions and side effects,and p romote worth in osteoporosisin.
