This study aims to systematically and comprehensively arrange and analyze the literature reports of odern clinical application of Guipi Decoction, and reveal the clinical application rule of Guipi Decoction and summarize the prescription-syndrome characteristics, so as to provide the basis for clinical pharmacy selection.MethodBased on modern medical records, this paper collects the medical case reports related to clinical application of Guipi Decoction that CNKI have published in recent thirty years by using the method of Philology, so as to arrange and analyze them. According to the patient’s sex, age, incidence season, course of disease, etiology, symptoms, tongue and pulse, TCM, western medicine, drug dosage, drug registration, the document literature that have been collected and arranged are registered one by one. It uses the frequency statistics and keyword statistics methods and establishes relevant data and charts, and discuss the main indications of clinical application of Guipi Decoction according to the statistics of the results, the range of the indications of Guipi Decoction and the commonly used clinical drug dose of Guipi Decoction and chmical process rules. Comparing treatment results and relevant theoretical research, it discusses the therapy regularity of Guipi Decoction from the height of theory, so as to provide a theoretical basis for the application in clinic.ResultsAmong the gender distribution of Guipi Decoction therapy, female patients are more than male patients, the ratio is about 2:1. The age of onset are more concentrated in the age of 31-50 with no obvious seasonal time of onset. Etiology are emotional factors, overwork and body weakness. The core indications of modern clinical use of Guipi Decoction are: heart palpitations, loss of appetite, fatigue, insomnia, being dizzy, lusterless complexion; indications for reference: shortness of breath, dreaminess, sallow complexion, menstrual volume, loose stool, forgetfulness, the color pale, thin, irritability, chest tightness, abdominal distension, limbs, cold chills; the main tongue: pale tongue, thin white fur, thready pulse. These conform to basic pathogenesis of heart-spleen deficiency and insufficiency blood on Guipi Decoction. In the prescription statistics, 377 cases of Guipi Decoction cases, each medical case uses primary drug 8.8 ingredient, modified drugs 3.3 ingredient, using drugs 12.1 ingredient in total, which is more 2.1 ingredient than the original medicine 10 ingredient. In terms of frequency of medication, astragalus, ginseng, Atractylodes, Poria are use more frequently, which states that doctors pay more attention to the role of the spleen and replenishing when applying Guipi Decoction. In addition, in the large sample reports, the situations that drug dosage and flavored drug of six kinds of disease that often are treated by Guipi Decoction have been accounted.ConclusionFrom the statistical results, the clinical application range of Guipi Decoction has been enlarged than before, which widely applied in internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics and other disciplines, especially in the nervous system, circulatory system, blood system and gynecological disease that are most frequently used with significant effect.
