Objective: To analyze the clinical features of children with EB virus infection, observe the clinical curative effect of combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in children with EB virus infection, in order to provide the clinical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of children with EB virus infection.Methods: 120 cases of EB infection were randomly divided into two groups: the treatment group based on conventional support and symptomatic treatment, and with ganciclovir(5~10mg/kg?d) combined with Yanhuning(5~10mg/kg?d) intravenous drip treatment 5~7 days; the control group, treated with ganciclovir(5~10mg/kg?d) intravenous drip treatment 5~7 day.Results: The total score of the end of the two groups after treatment compared with before treatment were significantly reduced, the efficacy rating of two groups of children with the statistical analysis, there were significant differences(P=0.028), wherein, the treatment group cure rate, fever, sore throat and throat congestion improvement were better than the control group in clinical. The clinical characteristics of EB virus infection, the infection of the respiratory system disease, atypical; easily with other pathogens infection, the observation of children, especially in complicated by pneumonia mycoplasma infection.Conclusion: Two kinds of treatment are effective in the treatment of children with EB virus infection, the efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group, that of ganciclovir combined with Yanhuning treatment of this disease with ganciclovir alone application effect is better, can effectively improve the clinical symptoms, signs, and has application value.
