Objective: Evaluate objectively the effect of different intervention time of acupuncture treatment of ischemic stroke, which is better or worse, and discuss the optimal clinical acupuncture intervention time window, providing reference of the intervene best time.for acupuncture treatment of ischemic stroke. Methods: Collecting comprehensively the clinical study of the application of acupuncture in treating ischemic stroke in different intervention time, according to the methods of system evaluation. Retrieve system Chinese database, CBM, CNKI, VIP and Wanfang database; English databases Pub Med, Science Citation Index(SCI), EMBASE and the Cochrane Library, according to the inclusion, exclusion criteria screening literature, the recommended by the Cochrane Handbook 5.1.0 bias risk assessment evaluation tools are included in the study of partial relies on the risk, meta-analysis using Revman software. Heterogeneity test data prior to the merger, conducting sensitivity analysis and subgroup analysis according to different sources of heterogeneity. Results: The results of the first seizure were 1517, and the final compliance of the inclusion criteria were 10 studies, the total sample of 990 sample. Involving the study included a total of four different intervention time, total clinical efficiency: a meta analysis results showed that within 48 hours and 3-7 days interventional therapy, the relative risk of RR=1, 95%CI(0.91,1.10),compared differences have no statistical significance; within 48 hours and 14 days to intervene, RR=1.05, 95%CI(0.95,1.16), compared differences have no statistical significance; within 48 hours and 15 days after interventional therapy RR=1.16, 95%CI(0.98,1.38) the compared difference have no statistically significant. 3 to 7 days and 15 days after intervention, RR=1.28, 95%CI(1.08,1.52) the compared difference have statistically significant; 3 to 7 days and 7 to 14 days intervene, RR=1.14, the 95%CI(0.91,1.44) the compared difference have no statistically significant. Symptom scores before and after meta analysis results are shown: 7-14 days and 15 days after intervention.MD=2.14,95%CI(-1.27,5.55), the difference between no statistical significance; 3-7 days and 14 days intervention, MD=3.77, 95%CI(0.14,7.40), the differences have statistical significance; 3-7 days and 15 days after intervention. MD=5.91, 95%CI(2.59,9.23), the differences have statistical significance.Neural function defect score meta analysis results show that the within 48 hours and 3-7 days intervention, MD=0.00, 95%CI(-2.07,2.07), the difference between no statistical significance; 7-14 days and 15 days after intervention. MD=1.87, 95%CI(0.40,3.34), the differences have statistical significance; 3-7 days and 14 days intervention, MD=1.63, 95%CI(0.80,2.46), the differences have statistical significance; within 48 hours and 15 days after intervention. MD=2.84, 95%CI(1.38,4.29), the differences have statistical significance; 3-7 days and 15 days after intervention.MD=3.97, 95%CI(1.94,6.01), the differences have statistical significance.Activities of daily living(ADL) meta analysis results are shown: 7-14 days and 15 days after intervention.MD=10.96, 95%CI(6.92,14.99), the differences have statistical significance; 3-7 days and 14 days in, MD=15.90, 95%CI(2.41,29.39), the differences have statistical significance; within 48 hours and 14 day intervention, MD=4.47, 95%CI(-3.03,11.97), the differences between no statistical significance; within 48 hours and 15 days after intervention. MD=10.46, 95%CI(5.92,15.00), the differences have statistical significance; 3-7 days and 15 days after intervention. MD=23.18, 95%CI(12.73,33.63), the differences have statistical significance.Motor function score meta analysis results are shown: 7-14 days and 15 days after intervention. MD=8.73, 95%CI(2.33,15.13), the differences have statistical significance; 3-7 days and 14 days intervention, MD=12.70, 95%CI(6.28,19.12), the differences have statistical significance; within 48 hours and 14 day intervention, MD=6.60, 95%CI(3.27,9.92), the differences have statistical significance; within 48 hours and 15 days after intervention. MD=12.11, 95%CI(7.01,17.21), the differences have statistical significance; 3-7 days and 15 days after intervention. MD=15.85, 95%CI(6.68,25.02), the differences have statistical significance. Conclusion: The system evaluation results suggest that ischemic stroke onset 3-7 days involved in acupuncture treatment is more useful to improve the total efficiency, neural function defect and activities of daily living(ADL) and motor function in improving 48 h intervention and 3-7 days of intervention are more helpful to the recovery of the disease, no comparative study within 48 hours and within 3-7 days of interventional therapy for ischemic stroke. Because of the number of studies, there is a risk of bias, and the results need to be further verified by high-quality randomized controlled trials.
