The Research Of The Role Of The Effect Of Festering-moxibustion On IL17-RANKL Path In RA

Objective:To prop up much more theoretical basis for the effect of festering-moxibustion on Rheumatoid Arthritis, the mechanism of festering-moxibustion in ameliorating the Rheumatoid arthritis by reducing the inflammation and suppressing osteoclastogenesis has been elucidated in our research.Experiment study method:Separate 63 rats into7 groups:blank group、blank group with moxibustion、RA group、RA moxibustion group、IL-17 silencing group% IL-17 silencing group with moxibustion and IL-17 overexpression with moxibustion group. To test the amount of TGF-β1、RANKL、IL-17A in the peripheral blood, ELISA has been introduced.Experiment study result:TGF-β1 is a mark in RA.due to the comparison of blank group and RA group with RA moxibustion group, great difference between each two exists (P<0.01);IL-17A plays as the upstream of RANKL,reflexing by the the comparison of IL-17 silencing group with moxibustion and IL-17 overexpression with moxibustion group,there also lies great difference (P<0.01);Moxibustion has the capability of decreasing the content of IL-17 in the blood, expounding by blank group and RA group with RA moxibustion group (P<0.01); Moxibustion also leads to the decrease the concentration of RANKL in the blood, evidencing by the analysis of same three groups (P<0.01)Experiment study conclusion:The mechanism to pillar the effect of moxibustion in treating RA is not only suppress the concentration pro-inflammation cytokine IL-17 but also osteoclastogenesis RANKL,signifying that moxibustion has both anti-inflammation and preventing bone erosion effect.Method of clinical study:Divide 40 RA patients into two groups randomly, comparing group and experiment group, each one has 20 cases.The treatment are orally taken Celebex and festering-moxibustion on ST36 and BL with BL40 with the combination of Celebex respectively. Courses of treatment last for 3 weeks.The effective of the treatment is appraised by clinical disease activity index, which is tested twice that before and after the treatment.Clinical Result:First, the general condition of the two groups has been calculated to exclude difference which stands in the way of comparing the effect. Then the total effective rate of the two groups are calculated with the result of experiment group scoring85% and comparing group 70%.There is great significance between the two groups (P<0.05) statistically, implying that the effect of experiment group is better than comparing group.Clinical conclusion:Moxibustion per se has the advantage of easy operation, great effect, little side effect and from the perspective of treat the disease of Rheumatoid Arthritis, it has the function of alleviating pain and improving joint flexibility. With all of the merits, it is worth to further promote the application clinically with the use of the medication treatment.
