Observation Of Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP) Combined With Yiqihuoxue Decoction On Repairing Chronic Wounds

Objective To study the effect of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) combined with Yiqihuoxue Decoction on repairing chronic wounds。Methods Twenty-six diabetic patients hospitalized in Yancheng Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2013 to January 2014,with chronic wounds,were divided into group simple dressing (n=8),PRP control group (n=9),PRP+Yiqihuoxue Decoction group(n=9). The diabetes in PRP+Yiqihuoxue Decoction group were treated with platelet-rich plasma combined with Yiqihuoxue Decoction.Before PRP was applied,a surgical debridement was carried out.And evaluate the treatment results。Results PRP+Yiqihuoxue Decoction group:9 cases of wound healed completely 8 cases, part of the healing in 1 case. No wound muscle and bone tissue exposed. Pure PRP group treatment:9 cases of wound healed completely 6 cases, partial healing in 2 cases, healing after skin flap transfer in 1 case. No wound muscle and bone tissue exposed. Traditional treatment group therapy:8 cases of wounds healed in 2 cases, part of the healing 3 cases,3 cases with no obvious signs of healing, dressing wounds granulation tissue was not fresh, the drainage is more, unfavorable surgical wound skin grafts. Rate of granulation tissue coverage showed significant differences among the 3 groups(with P values below 0.01).Conclusion PRP combinded with Yiqihuaxue Decoction efficiently enhances the recovery of soft tissue defect and speeds up the healing of chronic wounds。...
