| ObjectiveTo explore the effect of Fitness Qigong Yi Jinjing on pulmonary rehabilitation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients in order to provide the modern medical evidences for the treatment of yi jin jing on pulmonary rehabilitation.Methods120 COPD patients in stable period were devided into 2 groups randomly:the experimental group(yi jin jing+ respiration training) and the control group(respiration training). There 60 patients in each group. After 6 months’ exercises, they were compared with pulmonary function, activity ability, healthy quality of life and exercise of self-care agency.Results(1)There was no statistical difference (P>0.05) between the experimental group and the control group in general condition, including sex, age, weight, marital status, educational level, disease time, complications, pulmonary function, quality of life, activity ability and self care ability.(2)After six months’ exercise of fitness Qigong Yi Jinjing combined with breathing exercise, the experimental group had significantly higher scores on FEV1, FEV1/FVC, FEV1 %than those in control group (P<0.05).(3)There was a significantly difference in 6 minute walking test. After six months’ exercise of fitness Qigong Yi Jinjing combined with breathing exercise, the average walking in the experimental group was 422.1±76.14 meters, which was significantly longer than that in the control group (P<0.05).(4) After six months’ exercise of fitness Qigong Yi Jinjing combined with breathing exercise, CAT score in the experimental group decreased from 27.24±5.10 to 25.33±5.31,while that in the control group decreased from 28.15±5.645 to 22.93±6.594.There was a significantly difference (P<0.05).(5) After six months’ exercise of yi jin jing combined with breathing exercise, the experimental group had significantly higher scores in self-care skills, personal responsibility, self concept, the health knowledge level than those in the control group(P<0.05).ConclusionsFitness Qigong Yi Jinjing exercise produced positive effect of pulmonary function, activity ability, healthy quality of life and exercise of self-care agency in COPD patients. |
