The Clinical Research Of Acupuncturing Pericardium Meridian Of Hand-Jueyin Together With Shengjiang Powder On Vascular Dementia

Objective:Through changes of MMSE,ADL scale and vascular dementia syndrome s (SDSVD), elevating the clinical efficacy of vascular dementia by acupuncturing pericardi meridian of Hand-Jueyin together with Shengjiang powder.Methods:Between January 2013 and January 2015,60 patients with vascular dementia in Xuzhou Chinese traditional medicine hospital encephalopathy ward or outpatient clinic are included. All the cases are in accordance with the inclusive criteria.To adopt random design methods, which can be divided into the treatmemt group and the western medicine control gro (each 30 cases).The treatmemt group adopt acupuncturing pericardium meridian of Hand-Jueyin combined with Shengjiang powder,adopting piracetam as the control group. Through continuous medication for two courses (two weeks as a course of treatment), before and afte the treatment the changing score of MMSE, ADL and SDSVD scale were recorded as indicators, we use statistical analysis to evaluate the effect of vascular dementia by acupuncturing pericardium meridian of Hand-Jueyin together with regulating Qi-activity.Results:After treatment,the two groups were both increased in MMSE scale,the score of the two groups had significant difference (P<0.05);ADL scale scores were both decreased, particularly in the treatment group(P<0.05);The symptom of integral value were also decreased, compared with the control group,the treatmemt group showing a statistical meaning(P<0.01). The treatment group were better than the control group in curative effect. Safety indicators of treatment group and control group manifest no significa difference.Conclusion:Acupuncturing pericardium meridian of Hand-Jueyin together with Shengjiang powder can obvisously improve the patients’s cognitive function,daily life ability and TCM symptom.lt is safe and feasible for clinical application.Acupcture can dredge the channe while Shengjiang powder’s mechanism may be regulating Qi-activity,which makes qi activit blood, Yin and Yang balance,thereby blocking or reversing the course of vascular dementia ai to the treatment goal of improve the clinical symptoms.
