The Clinical Efficacy Of WaveOne NiTi Of Wave One Nickeltitanium System In Root Canal Preparation

Objective: In this paper,WaveOne NiTi systems and stainless steel hand K file were used for 40 teeth root canal preparation, then, evaluate the clinical efficacy of WaveOne nickel-titanium system with both the incidence of EIAE and the situation of degree of pain.Methods: In accordance with the order to diagnosis, will meet the standards of the 40 cases of pulpitis patients were randomly divided in accordance with the experimental(WaveOne nickel titanium system) and control(Hand used stainless steel K file) groups. All the chosed patients were followed by these rules : ①Been identified clinically diagnosed as acute or chronic pulpitis teeth; ②apical foramen is closed and no significant calcification of permanent teeth; ③ rootless fold, no root resorption, no cracked; ④ patient informed and willing to accept treatment; ⑤ no systemic disease; ⑥loose degrees ≤Ⅱ degree; ⑦ no endodontic treatment history.In order to prevent affect curative ef fect evaluation, two groups of tooth adopts the method of multiple root canal treatment time.Two groups of patients had taken an X-ray when they was clinic at first time.Then, both of the teeth was removed detritus and pulp cavity under being local infiltration, re move the infected pulp,irrigation,create a glide path by gently working a 10#file, Experimental group: canals were prepared with WaveOne nickel-titanium system.(1)select the WaveOne file :the PFile is designed to fully shape the majority of all root canals.(2)Initiate shaping procedures with the selected WaveOne file in the presence of an irrigant.(3) Withdraw the WaveOne file,remove the debris and inspect its cutting flutes,until the coronal two-third of the canal have been shaped.(3)Use the WaveOne file to final working length. Control group: According to the conventional method, shaping the root canal with the stainless steel K files. Once preparation finished, Sealing Ca(OH) 2 disinfection into the dried canal with ZOE temporarily closed. Enjoined patients one week later the subsequent visit. If the patient pain or swelling occurred,then immediate follow-up. After one week, record the pain occurred and the pain level after preparation. After the patients didn’t have obvious symptom,irrigatied the root canal with the H2O2 solution and normal saline.Then trialed point,taken the intraoperative X-ray and sealed the canal with gutta-percha and paste.Results: Wave One NiTi systems EIAE incidence of 5% was significantly lower than that of stainless steel hand K file group EIAE incidence of 35%, the difference between the incidence EIAE statistically significant(P <0.05); both EIAE pain intensity differences at grade Ⅱ was statistically significant(P <0.05), WaveOne nickel-titanium system is superior to stainless steel hand K file.Conclusions: To compared with hand use stainless steel K file, WaveOne nickel-titanium system have the significant lower incidence rates of EIAE and in the II level of pain after root canal preparation.Therefore, Wave One is worthy of promotion in clinic.
