| Objective :To determine the efficacy and safety of the delipid extracossoseal lipoprotein filter from Plasma(DELP) for the treatment of acute cerebral infarction.Methods :120 cases of acute cerebral infarction patients were collected retrospectively from July 2013 to October 2014 in Department of Neurology, General Hospital of Shenyang Military Region. They were divided into DELP treatment group(DELP+standardized drug treatment, n=60) and the control group(standardized drug treatment,n=60). After average 3 months follow up, the following data were analyzed between DELP and Control groups: the United States national institutes of health neural function defect scale score(NIHSS) 1 day, 4 days and 1 week after treatment, and the modified Rankin scale(m RS) 3 months after the treatment. Results :1 week after treatment DELP NIHSS score improvement was better than control group, and the difference is statistically significant. Compare the NIHSS score of DELP treatment group before treatment to the NIHSS score after treatment for 24 hours, 4 days after treatment, 1week after treatment, the comparative differences are statistically significant. After 3months treatment, the recovery of neurological function of DELP treatment group(the modified Rankin scale(m RS) score 0-1 points) is better than control group, and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusions: Compared with the traditional method of using drug therapy in the process of the treatment of patients with acute cerebral infarction, DELP treatment can be safe and effective to promote early recovery of neurological function in patients with acute cerebral infarction, increase proportion significantly in patients with good prognosis, reduce the proportion of patients with severe disabilities, provide a new treatment way to the early treatment of acute cerebral infarction. |
