Study Of Clearing Awayheat And Nurishing Yin Decoctionson On DM Model Rat And The Insulin Resistance

Objective This paper uses clearing away heat and nurishing Yin Decoctions to cure the diabetic model rats, in order to reseach the effect on the glucose metabolism and blood sugar changes of the diabetic model rats While observing the effects on insulin resistance and the regulating function of islet B cells. This research is expected to provide experimental evidence and to support the clinical application of clearing away heat and nouring Yin Decoctions in the treatment of diabetes.Methods Set up the animal model:making experimental type 2 diabetic rats fasting blood glucose in animal models. Successful modeling animals will demonstrate the symptom of hyperglycemia and obivous hyperinsulinemia, which is close to clinical diabetic patients. The sensitivity index of insulin in modeling animal is significantly lower than that in mormal animals so that insulin resistance and the functional impairment phenomenon of Islet B cell are emerged, which compliant with clinical characteristic of type 2 diabetes.Results 1. The prescriptionl, medium and low-dose group and metformin group of rats had improved phenomenon, which mainly displayed with the shiny hair.2. The blood glucose of each group rats changed every week at random, beginning to appear the declining trend in the third week. In the third week, the blood glucose of metformin group decreased, compared with the model group(P<0.05).3.The rats appeared in the glucose tolerance test after four weeks, the AUC of each dose group in clearing away heat and nourishing Yin Decoction and metformin group showed varying degrees of decline, Compared with model group.4. The sensitivity and resistance index of insulin of the rats changed after four weeks of administration, compared with model group, the ISI of the low-dose group in clearing away heat and nourishing Yin Decoctions and metformin increased while IRI decreased (P<0.05). statistics show that the low-dose group and were difference compared with metformin group.5. Islet cell morphology shows that Clearing away heat and nourshing Yin Decoctions has a protective effect on the Islet B cell structure of type 2 diabetic rat.Conclusion The research indicates that clearing away heat and nourshing Yin Decoctions plays an positive role in reducing modeling type 2 diabetic rats fasting glucose and insulin resistance. Therefore, It can regulate the function of islet beta cell and play a good therapeutic role in these areas, reflecting the advantage of the traditional Chinese Medicine such as wide approach and more positive functions. This research lays the foundation for further in-depth study.
