Objective:To observe the therapeutic efficacy of strengthening spleen and nourishing kidney,Reducing phlegm and activating blood circulation,clearing heat and eliminating toxicant principles for the Xiaokening effect of the Diabeteic Insulin Resistance and to study its mechanism. Methods:According WHO and our countrys'relative rules set up the diagnosing and resulting standards about IR. 60 patients with IR are divided into two groups by random.Among these patients,test group(n=30)were treated by the Xiaokening Mixture .Control group(n=30)were treated by the Jiangtangjia,two months was a course of treatment.After 2 months,the experiment index (symptoms,fasting blood glucose,1- hour,2-hour,3- hour postprandial blood glucose,HbA1c,insulin release,IAI,IR,Blood Lipid,Blood Rheology and Inflammatory factors)were compared to those in begining. Results:The clinical study showed that:①Xiaokening Mixture can improve the clinical symptoms obviously,and the effection is better than the control group(P<0.05);②it descends glucose,glucose area and HbAlc markbly, the effection is better than the control group(P<0.01);③it descends fasting insulin,postprandial insulin and insulin area. With the above-mentioned indicators improved significantly, the insulin sensitivity index rised and insulin resistance index decreased significantly. The effection is better than the control group(P<0.05).④it descends body mass index and waist to hip ratio significantly. The effection is better than the control group(P<0.01).⑤it descends Blood Lipid and Blood Rheology markbly.There is significant difference between the test group and the control group(P<0.05).⑥it can effectively reduce the level of TNF-a and IL-6 much better than the control group(P<0.05)Conclusion:The method of strengthening spleen and nourishing kidney,Reducing phlegm and activating blood circulation,clearing heat nd eliminating toxicant are matched with the pathogenesis of Diabeteic Insulin Resistance. The Xiaokening which is based on this therapeutic principle can prevent and cure Diabeteic Insulin Resistance effectively.So it is worthy of further research.
