Cleidocranial Dysplasia:a Review Of Literature And Five Case Reports

Cleidocranial dysplasia syndrome is a rare congenital dysostosis. Anomalies can be found in almost all parts of the skeletal system, especially in the cranium. Patients usually come to the doctor because of the abnormality of the teeth, or facial deformities. In this passage, a literature review is made about the history/clinical manifestations/dignosisis and differential diagnosis/etiology/treatment plan of cleidocranial dysplasia syndrome. At the same time, this paper also reported5cases of cleidocranial dysplasia syndrome. Through the analysis of the cases, a further exploration of the relationship between genotype and phenotype of this hereditary disease is made, and to discuss the method of early diagnosis of cleidocranial dysplasia syndrome, including image method and prenatal testing.
