| Objective: By comparing the clinical symptoms before and after treatment and changes in ALT, AST, HBV-DNA quantification, WBC and other clinical indicators, to observe effect of the modified Jianpi Qinghua Decoction on CHB patients.And based on it to observe the serum TNFα and IL-6 levels in patients with CHB before and after treatment of the experimental group and the control group, in order to analyze the impact of modified Jianpi Qinghua Decoction for TNF-α, IL-6 of CHB patients and explore the mechanism of CHB treatment.Methods: Selecting 40 patients who met the inclusion criteria for the study were randomly divided into experimental and control groups, 20 cases each. Course of the study, the experimental group off two cases, three cases in the control group off, so the actual number of people earning as the experimental group 18 cases, 17 cases in the control group. The control group received Recombinant Human Interferon α-2b acupuncture treatment on the basis of protecting liver(each of five million IU, subcutaneous injection, once every other day). Experimental group was treated with the modified Jianpi Qinghua Decoction on the basis of the control group(a dose every day, two times daily, taking it every morning and evening). A course of 12 weeks.Observing the changes in clinical symptoms and serum ALT, AST, HBV-DNA quantification, WBC levels and other indicators before and after treatment. And at the beginning and after treatment collect selected patients’ blood samples, and extract cubital vein non-anticoagulant about 5ml in the morning than eight hours of fasting, then separating the serum specimens to detect the serum TNF-α, IL-6 cytokine levels before and after the change situation of patients in each group by using double antibody sandwich ELISA.Results: 1. After treatment TCM symptom scores of two groups were significantly lower than before, and the experimental group decreased more significantly. Comparing TCM syndrome score of two groups after treatment, the difference has statistically significant(P = 0.007).2. Serum ALT levels of the two groups after treatment were significantly decreased compared with before treatment, and the experimental group decreased more significantly than the control group. Comparing ALT levels of two groups, it had significant differences after treatment(P = 0.007).3. Two groups of patients after treatment compared with before treatment serum AST levels were all decreased, but the experimental group decreased more significantly, there are significant differences, while no significant difference in the control group decreased. After treatment serum AST level was significantly(P = 0.020).4. Blood WBC levels of two groups after treatment were significantly lower than before treatment, and a decline in the experimental group was lower than the control group. Comparison of blood WBC levels of the two groups were significantly different after treatment(P = 0.046).5. After treatment serum TNF-α levels were significantly lower than before treatment, and the experimental group than in the control group decreased more significantly. Comparison of serum TNF-α levels after two groups of patients significantly different(P = 0.007).6. Serum IL-6 levels of two groups after treatment were significantly lower than before, and the experimental group decreased more significantly than the control group. Comparing levels of serum IL-6 of two groups after treatment, they were significantly different(P = 0.018).Conclusion: 1. Modified Jianpi Qinghua Decoction could improve TCM syndrome and reduce CHB patients’ blood ALT, AST, PCRHBV-DNA quantitative level. This indicated that Modified Jianpi Qinghua Decoction could reduce the liver inflammation by spleen Qi,dampness,detoxification while still had some antiviral activity.2.Modified Jianpi Qinghua Decoction could make interferon induced reduced WBC increased, This indicated that Modified Jianpi Qinghua Decoction could reduce the adverse effects of WBC.3.Modified Jianpi Qinghua Decoction could lower levels of TNF-α and IL-6 in CHB patients’ blood. It indicated that modified Jianpi Qinghua Decoction possible used the approach of reducing serum TNF-α and IL-6 levels of CHB patients to attain the anti-liver inflammation and reduce the side effects of interferon. |
