Objective:Exploring high-risk syndromes types in prehypertension groups with the abnormal tendency of pulse wave velocity in TCM function related community, to provide basis for further epidemiological research, and also offer reference for using TCM methods to intervene prehypertension in early stage and slow the process of atherosclerosis. Methods:Taking cross-sectional survey method, and relatively large sample study ways, prehypertension in TCM function related community as study population. In 2013 and 2015,respectively screening out 250 cases and 149 cases prehypertension people who are older than 35 years old but less than 79 years old without significant comorbidities in Shandong Province Plain County authorities crowds, which were in strict compliance with the standards and procedures as well as using standardized questionnaire forms to collect syndromes types classification information.Using noninvasive detection device measured pulse wave velocity to compare with the difference syndromes types of pulse wave velocity of prehypertension groups.Use cfPWV and baPWV as arterial stiffness index.Establish single and combination syndrome types among the excess liver-fire syndrome, accumulation of phlegm-dampness syndrome, Hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency syndrome, simultaneous deficiency of Yin and Yang syndrome as the standard sub-type according to the "Chinese medicine clinical research guiding principles". Enter all results to ACCESS database, and create data queries as well as import version SPSS17.0 statistical software for statistical analysis.Results:1. The main distribution of single standard syndrome types of community rehypertension people: in 2013,the excess liver-fire syndrome(91/250), Hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency syndrome(82/250), accumulation of phlegm-dampness syndrome(22/250), Hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency syndrome(26/250); in 2015, the excess liver-fire syndrome(51/149), Hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency syndrome(61/149);2. Compare PWV of Hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency syndrome with people who are healthy but incomplete healthy strictly speaking,The difference was statistically significant. Hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency syndrome shows similar outcome. As for PWV, Hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency syndrome>the excess liver-fire syndrome > people who are healthy but incomplete healthy strictly speaking;3. In 2015, prehypertension groups, the cfPWV and baPWV of Hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency syndrome and the excess liver-fire syndrome were not statistically different(P=0.271,P=0.134).4. Compared with the year of 2013,baPWV in Hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency group show no significant statistic change,as well as the excess liver-fire syndrome.Conclusion:1. According to the standard classification of syndromes types, prehypertension people mainly consist of the excess liver-fire syndrome, hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency;2. Pulse wave velocity of prehypertension people is significantly higher than people who are healthy but incomplete healty strictly speaking and lower than hypertension. When we enlarge the sample size, pulse wave velocity in hyperactivity of yang due to yin deficiency syndrome tend to be higher than that of the excess liver-fire syndrome;Sufficient sample size is essential when we use pulse wave velocity to study arterial stiffness in prehypertension people;3. Using approach of regulating Liver system may be effective to avoid hypertension and slow down the process of atherosclerosis in prehypertension group.
