Clinical Study Of Improving Gastrointestinal Symptoms In Chronic Kideny Disease(stage 3-4)patients With Method Of Hewei Huazhuo

Objective: To observe the effects of method of hewei huazhuo on improving gastrointestinal symptoms in Chronic Kidney Disease(stage3-4)patients and to explore the possible mechanism of Shenshuai Liujunzi decoction treating this disease.Methods: First the 92 patients with CKD(stage3-4)were asked for a two-week elution period,and then were randomly divided into experiment group and control group,each group had 46 cases. Two groups of patients were given the basic treatment of Western medicine, Patients in the experiment group were administered with Shen Shuai Liu Jun Zi(SSLJZ200ml per time, two times a day),while those in the control group treated with Niaoduqing granuie(once or twice bags per time,four time a day)。Total therapeutic course was 12 weeks,changes of creatinine urea nitrogen,glomerular filtration rate,hemoglobin,albumin,the clinical symptoms and signs were observed before and after treatment in two groups.Results:A total of 86 patients completed the 12 weeks observation, 44 cases in experimental group, 42 cases in the control group. After 12 weeks of treatment, the clinical comprehensive effective rate of the experimental group was 93.2%,which was higher than the control group(78.6%).The SCr,BUN,GFR,Alb,Hbchanges before and after treatment there were significant differences in the experimental group(P<0.01); The SCr,BUN,GFR,Hbchanges before and after treatment there were significant differences in the control group(P<0.05), but the numerical of Alb was not significantly decreased(P>0.05);Comparing with the control group after the treatment,the numerical of SCr,BUN,GFR,Alb of the experimental group, were improved obviously(P<0.05).but there was no statistical significance of the numerical of Hb(P>0.05).The efficacy of Chinese medicine for individual symptoms of CKD(stage3-4), total efficacy of Chinese medicine symptoms and the total clinical effects of the patients in the experiment group were significantly improved(P<0.05).Conclusion:Shen Shuai Liu Jun Zi decoction combined with basic treatment not only can improve patients with CKD(stage3-4)clinical symptoms and signs, but also can effectively reduce creatinine,blood urea nitrogen and delay the progress of CKD.
