Objective:To study the influence of coronal mass ejection on the incidence of acute myocardial infarction in Yunnan.Methods:682 cases were collected at the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from February 2012 to February 2014 as research subjects. The average age is 64.1±12.0. The coronal mass ejection (CME)-geomagnetic activity data during January 2012 to January 2014 was provided by Yunnan Observatory. According to the geomagnetic activity, patients can be divided into no geomagnetic activity group, moderate geomagnetic activity group, high strength geomagnetic activity group.During geomagnetic activity and the day for 3 consecutive days, We observe the incidence of acute myocardial infarctionthe and analysis the differenceof AMI incidence with different levels of geomagnetic activity.Results:(1)The relationship between the incidence of acute myocardial infarction and geomagnetic activity.During geomagnetic activity and the day for 3 consecutive days, we observe the incidence of acute myocardial infarctionthe and analysis the differenceof AMI incidence with different levels of geomagnetic activity. The daily incidence of acute myocardial infarction has correlation with geomagnetic activity (P< 0.001), the correlation coefficient is 0.42.(2) The relationship between the age, sex, geomagnetic activity and AMI. Based on the geomagnetic activity, the cases were divided into no geomagnetic activity groups, moderate geomagnetic activity groups and high intensity magnetic activity groups. No geomagnetic activity group had 496 cases,423 cases of male (85.3%),73 cases of female (14.7%), the average age was 60.27±12.18. Moderate geomagnetic activity group 110 cases, male 87 cases (79.1%),23 cases of women (20.9%), the average age was 60.38 ±12.61. High intensity magnetic activity group 76 cases, male 60 cases (78.9%),16 cases of women (21.1%), the average age was 61.36±13.79. While the differences between the age, sex, geomagnetic activity and AMI of three groups had no statistical significance (P> 0.05).Conclusion:(1) The daily incidence of acute myocardial infarction has correlation with geomagnetic activity in Yunnan, the correlation coefficient is 0.42. CME may play a role on AMI onset. (2) The differences between the age, sex,CME and AMI of three groups has no statistical significance...
