| This study includes the following four parts:The first part, theoretical research:including the theoretical basis of the pathogenesis of malignancies,rationale of anti-angiogenesis, angiogenesis promoting and inhibitory factor, research progressn on the antitumor effect of ginsenoside Rg3 and research progression of anti angiogenic drugs.The second part, the influence of serum VEGF by Shenyi capsule in patients with malignant tumor(Meta-Analysis):retrieval Pubmed, Chinese biomedical literature database, the Cochrane library, Chinese science and technology periodical database, Wan Fang database and Chinese journal full text database and Chinese traditional medicine database, time since the inception to Aug 2014. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria selecting literature, evaluating quality, extracting data, using RevMan5-2 to analyze. Results:20 studies were included,1299 cases. Meta analysis showed that contains Shenyi capsule treatment can significantly decrease the serum VEGF of tumor patients (P<0.001), Shenyi capsule in the treatment of 12 weeks compared with 4 weeks of treatment can further decrease the level of serum VEGF (P=0.004).The third part, the evaluation system of Shenyi capsule combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of gastrointestinal malignant tumors:retrieval Pubmed, Chinese biomedical literature database, Cochrane library, Chinese science and technology periodical database, Wanfang database, Chinese journal full text database and China TCM database, time since inception to Feb 2014. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria selecting literature, evaluating quality, extracting data, using RevMan5.2 to analyze. Results:14 studies were included,943 cases. Meta analysis showed that Shenyi capsule combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of gastrointestinal malignant tumors (including esophagus) compared with simple chemotherapy, chemotherapy remission rate was increased (P<0.001), KPS score improvad(P<0.001), and can improve the toxicity of chemotherapy.The fourth part, conclusion:Shenyi capsule is a monomer preparation of ginsenoside Rg3, is A class of anticancer drug developed by ourselves independent, can reduce the level of serum VEGF of tumor, combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of gastrointestinal malignant tumor is more effective than simple chemotherapy and does not increase the toxicity of chemotherapy. Due to the overall quality of the including literatures is not high and the sample size is small, the conclusion need to be cautious and be confirmed by more high quality randomized studies. |
