ObjectiveTo compare the serum levels of FSH, CTx and TP1NP, then to explore their roles in the pathogenesis of osteoporosis in menopausal transition.Methods164cases of women in menopausal transition were served as observation group, which were assigned by means of the modification of age and FSH, to detect the serum levels of FSH, CTx and TP1NP, then to analyze the correlation.Results(1) The level of CTx has statistical significant difference in distinct level of FSH (F=7.404, P<0.001. The serum level of FSH was positive correlation with CTx (r=0.417, P<0.001.The mean of CTx in the group of FSH<20mIU/ml less than that in the group of FSH>20mIU/ml. The level of CTx was higher in the group of FSH>100mIU/ml than other groups whose level of FSH less than80mIU/ml (P0.000、0.019、0.005、0.008).(2) The serum level of CTx was different in distinct agespecific, which raised with age. When age was less than40, the mean of CTx were not statistically significant between FSH<40mIU/mland FSH>40mIU/ml.The level of CTx was higher in the group of FSH>100mIU/mlthan that in the group of FSH<40mIU/ml between40-50years old. The mean of CTx were not statistically significant between FSH<40mIU/mland FSH>40mIU/ml from the age50-60.(3) When age was less than40, the mean of TP1NP were not statistically significant between FSH<40mIU/ml and FSH>40mIU/ml. The level of TP1NP was lower in the group of FSH<40mIU/ml than that in the group of FSH>40mIU/ml between40-50years old(t=-2.085, P=0.040).The mean of TP1NP were not statistically significant between FSH<40mIU/mland FSH>40mIU/ml from the age50-60.ConclusionThe level of FSH was correlated with the osteoporosis in menopausal transition certainly, the high level of FSH was maybe the reason of bone resorption in menopausal transition, FSH, CTx and TP1NP can provide scientific basis for prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
