With the rapid development of the economy, since the beginning of twenty-firstcentury, people’s working pressure is much bigger, the burden of life is alsoincreasing, the environmental pollution is more and more serious, the deterioration ofenvironment and the increasing pressure lead to cardiovascular morbidity andmortality is becoming higher, it has gradually become the main disease threateninghuman health statistics, one third of people is died of cardiovascular disease, if thedisease is discovered early and timely, it can take measures effectively and reduce themortality which caused by cardiovascular disease.ECG signal transmission system based Cortex is a portable remote monitoringsystem, it can acquisitive the ECG signal, save it to SD card and upload it to the hostcomputer for researching. It uses STM32F micro controller as the main control chip,processes the data in the SD card and upload to the host computer in the form of adocument transmission for viewing and analysis.This paper has completed following research work:The first hand, the hardware based on ECG signal transmission system isdescribed in detail, The hardware of the system uses the main control chip ofSTM32F103based on the Cortex-M3kernel. Firstly, the main features ofCortex-M3processor and its internal structure are introduced in detail, Then themain properties of the communication interface of USB is described in detail and theinterface properties of the USB is introduced mainly, at last, a detailed description offour kinds of transmission type USB is given.The second hand is a detailed study on the introduction of the transportprotocol used in this paper. This paper adopts Bulk Only transmission protocol, theentire transmission process including the command phase, data phase and state stage,the entire BOT state machine including CBW and CSW two modules, the data information and state information which are included in the CBW and theCSW module are studied, and then do a brief study on the SCSI command set, lastlyit focused on the process of USB implementation of the MEMORY read and writeoperations.The third hand, the ECG signal transmission module, the software design andthe hardware part of the information system are discussed in detail. Firstly, the designof interface circuit of USB, the principle of insert and detection of USB device andthe enumeration process of USB device are introduced in detail, and then therealization process and part of the program code in the transmission process areintroduced in detail.Finally, the whole ECG signal transmission system are summarized and prospects,although the ECG signal transmission system is accomplished from the SD card to theECG signal transmission function of the host computer, but it still has somelimitations in real time and the transmission speed of the above transmission, it canstudy on the development of wireless data transmission based on improvingtransmission speed the next step, getting rid of the limitation of data line.
