Objective:This study was designed to Brucella spondylitis tuberculousspondylitis and clinical manifestations, laboratory tests and comparingMRI imaging found differences between the two diseases, in order toimprove for both disc inflammation differential diagnosis of the disease, before the final test results obtained in patients with proper initialdiagnosis and early intervention.Materials and Methods: This study selected41patients diagnosed withspondylitis. Among them, the patient Brucella spondylitis in18(43.9%),tuberculous spondylitis patients23(56.1%). The patients were dividedinto two groups, namely Brucella spondylitis group (BS group),tuberculous spondylitis Group (TS Group). Comparison of the two groupsof patients with clinical symptoms and signs, laboratory findings, andMRI imaging performed. Results:The average age of patients with tuberculous spondylitis (51.55±13.28years) is greater than the average age of Brucella spondylitispatients (40.53±13.43years)(P <0.001). Tuberculous spondylitisstarting more symptomatic and change erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein is more pronounced. Tuberculous spondylitis damageto the anterior side of the stronger and more likely psoas abscess. Conclusion: Brucella spondylitis tuberculous spondylitis and there are some differences in the clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imagingtests, although the clinical data itself does not fully differentiate Brucellaspondylitis tuberculous spondylitis, but vertebral bone destruction site, with or without psoas abscess, ESR level of systemic symptoms oftenmakes it easier to distinguish between the two diseases. These differencescan help us faster and more accurate diagnosis of these two diseases, reduce misdiagnosis, the most effective treatment administered to thepatient in the shortest possible time.
