Background: As people become increasingly concerned about theirhealth and the relationship between environmental pollution andnew epidemiological methods used in the study, it was recognizedthat air pollution especially in atmospheric particulate matterpollution has become a major public health problem and theexcessive growth of medical costs the main reason. World HealthOrganization (World Health Organization, WHO) noted that thecurrent major global atmospheric pollutants in2005revised airquality guidelines (Air Quality Guidelines, AQG) in: particulatematter (Particulate Matter, PM), sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxideand ozone. Domestic and foreign large number of epidemiologicaland toxicological studies have shown that particulate airpollution is closely related to human health effects, includingcardiovascular disease and respiratory disease morbidity andmortality, lung cancer incidence and mortality, acute respiratorysymptoms and asthma rising incidence. This correlation is not onlyhappen in the event of serious air pollution, such as1930MeuseValley incident,1948Pennsylvania event, Great Smog, and occursin less air pollution in North America[1-3], Western Europe[45], Japan [6]and other cities. Among them, the particulate pollution USA90cities comprehensive analysis and daily mortality confirmedparticulate pollution increases the risk of cardiovascular diseasemortality; correlation analysis to control the impact of weatherchanges, the analysis results are accurate, robust, andparticulate matter effect is independent role[1-3]. Joint analysisof six eastern US cities found that, PM2.5each additional10μg/m3, ischemic heart disease mortality increased2.1%[7]. Theimpact of other pollutants, currently rarely reported [8]. WHO2002assessment year show that China has become one of the world’s mostpolluted atmospheric particulate matter in the region, at the sametime, China has also assumed the global burden of disease in airpollution.2006considerable part of the disease monitoringresults show the cause of death, heart cerebrovascular disease (orcirculatory disease) mortality was190.08/100,000, accountingfor36.15percent of the causes of death, as a major threat to humanhealth and life. So far, at home and abroad on air particulatematter (PM2.5, PM10ozone) exposure to less pollution andcorrelation of atrial fibrillation. Therefore, understanding theimpact of particulate matter on atrial fibrillation, and helpdevelop related medical care program for at-risk populationsduring severe air pollution, thereby reducing the death rate of atrial fibrillation. To solve these problems, this study from2013to2014between the air pollution index and the incidence of atrialfibrillation in Changchun were considered analysis, aimed toinvestigate the relationship between exposure to airborneparticulate matter pollution and the pathogenesis of atrialfibrillation in patients with lower environmental events, so asto carry out atmospheric particulate matter pollution hazardassessment and estimate the burden of disease attributable toprovide a basis for the development and effective environmentaldecision-making, protection of vulnerable populations, makerelevant feasible precautions to provide a scientific basis.Participants and methods: Different gender prevalence in patientswith atrial fibrillation is no statistically significantdifference. No correlation between age and prevalence in patientswith atrial fibrillation. No correlation between air quality andthe prevalence of atrial fibrillation. In patients with atrialfibrillation prevalence correlation, namely the winter prevalenceis higher than the summer.Particulate matter pollution index andthe number of platelets, platelet number of days with air pollution, platelet number af with other modification factor (such ashypertension, diabetes history, smoking history) in three aspects, such as no correlation, but the number of platelet of rise and fall along with the age, and in women slightly lower thanmen.Particulate matter pollution index and fibrinogen, fibrinogenand af air pollution days, fibrinogen, and other modificationfactor (such as age, gender, hypertension, history of diabetes andsmoking), three aspects, such as no correlation. With the changeof summer in the spring and autumn winter festival, each groupsignificantly reduced heart rate variability in the time domainindex. Results: Particulate matter pollution can increase the incidenceof atrial fibrillation. The incidence of atrial fibrillation ishigher than other seasons of winter. This study has not yet foundparticles on physiological indexes related to atrialfibrillation. With the pollution degree of heart rate variabilityof the time domain index decrease obviously.
