Colorectal cancer is one of the fastest growing cancer incidenceincreased year by year, and if the disease recurrence and tumor metastasisappear to be of poor prognosis in patients with colorectal cancer and theleading cause of death is crucial survival after surgery in patients whetheror not the factor[1]. Etiology of colorectal cancer is very complex at thesame time, scholars have been doing related research. Among theenvironmental factors, biological factors, physical factors, chemicalfactors and the body has also been factors scholars continue to study andexplore the direction[2-3].Objective:To explore the clinical implications of serum periosteum proteins forthe diagnosis of colorectal cancer. Methods:Determinate the serum periostin protein by ELISA.Result:(1) Compared with normal control group, serum, serum of patientswith colorectal cancer Periostin protein content increased significantly, P<0.05;(2) in patients with colorectal cancer Periostin protein contentirrespective of sex and age of the patient, P>0.05(3) clinical andpathological staging Ⅲ, ⅳ in serum of patients with colorectal cancerin Periostin protein was significantly higher than stage Ⅰ, Ⅱ, P <0.05; (4) with lymph node metastasis in patients with colorectal cancer serumperiostin protein was significantly higher than in patients without lymphnode metastasis, P <0.05.In conclusion:Serum of patients with colorectal Periostin protein content wassignificantly higher than the control group; serum of patients withcolorectal Periostin protein content and age has nothing to do with sex,and colorectal cancer clinical staging and lymph node metastasis.
